About

I'm Jason Yaede. I lead engineering organizations that ship and keep shipping.

Most of my work happens in the space between strategy and execution. Translating business goals into engineering reality, building teams that operate with real ownership, and making sure what we deliver actually moves the needle. I don't just manage engineering. I connect it to the business outcomes that matter.

I'm technical enough to challenge the architecture and strategic enough to know when the architecture isn't the problem. I care about simplicity. Not because it's elegant, but because complexity is easy to introduce and painful to remove.

I build organizations where teams own their outcomes, not just their tasks. My job is to set direction, create clarity, and raise the bar. Then get out of the way.

I write here about the things I think about most: how teams build clarity, how leaders actually drive outcomes, and what it looks like when engineering organizations work well.
